There is no Indexing service option to be selected. I tried expanding every option shown, still, it’s not there. I followed your instructions. I never found an “Indexing Service” in the list of Feaures. I then went to rebuilding the index, and it did that in seconds. Then, in searching using a known message of course I get “No Results”.

As far as I know, my messages are all on my own computer. I performed a slight tweak to this and it seemed to fix my Outlook searches pretty easily. The name with the check mark should be your primary. Look for that patch. Mine was. After I did that, my search results started showing up immediately in outlook. It turns out that the location of my e-mail datastore was no longer included in the index, which is why I was only finding older e-mails in my results.

The indexing service does not exist for me either and rebuilding the index in Outlook does nothing. Next option?
